Facilities and HoursCCRA is located at 8922 Spring Valley Road. The facilities include swimming pools, tennis courts, badminton, ping-pong, and volleyball facilities. Pool telephone 301-656-4025. The swimming facilities include three pools: a 100' X 40' pool with dive and slide "L" and a shallow "L", a new 6-lane heated lap pool (opened in 2000), and separate wading pool. Children of Limited Participation families are eligible for swim lessons during their membership period and may participate on swim team after becoming at least a Weekday family. The pools are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and frequently for the first couple of weeks in September, weather permitting. 2010 Pool Hours (tentative)
No food is allowed within the pool enclosure except inside the Poolside Cafe. Picnic tables are outside the locker room entrance and hillside picnic tables overlook the pool area. Four lighted tennis courts are open the year round. Badminton, ping-pong, and volleyball facilities are also available during the summer.
